# Coinflip

> One-on-one, 50/50, winner takes both stakes.

Coinflip is a head-to-head duel between two players.

## Rules

* **Two players**, one fixed entry amount.
* Both players stake the **same** amount.
* The winner is decided 50/50 from [provably fair](/concepts/provably-fair) randomness.
* The winner takes **both stakes**, minus a small protocol fee.

## Playing

    Create a Coinflip room with your entry amount, or join an open one from the Lobby.

  <Step title="Deposit">
    Your entry is escrowed when you join. The room then waits for an opponent (or, if you
    joined a room, it's ready to flip).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Flip">
    Once both seats are filled, the room locks and the result is drawn from the committed seed.
    The winner is paid automatically.
  </Step>
